About Us
The St. Kitts Foundation will be working
with the government of St.
Kitts & Nevis, community representatives,
Auberge Firesky and
partners of Christophe Harbour to implement
long-term sustainable
development, community-based conservation, and
sound management of the
island's natural resources. Our partnership
will create a lasting
community benefit mechanism that generates
funds to provide local
support for all three pillars of sustainable
development: social,
ecological and economic.
The St. Kitts
Foundation is an Ocean
Fund
hosted by The Ocean Foundation, which is a
501c3 independent,
international non-profit corporation. The Ocean
Foundation is a
boutique community foundation with a
specialized practice. Its niche is
providing high-end philanthropic advice for the
community of donors who
care about the coast and oceans. The Ocean
Foundation's Board
is comprised of individuals with significant
experience in marine conservation philanthropy,
complemented by a growing advisory
board
of scientists, policy makers, educational
specialists, and others with
known expertise. For more information about The
Ocean Foundation,
