Who May Apply

Public charities (non-profit organizations) incorporated in St. Kitts or any other jurisdiction may apply. Other organizations or individuals may apply if they have a fiscal sponsor. If the applicant is not an established public charity, the project will need a "Fiscal Sponsor". A Fiscal Sponsorship is a legal mechanism by which an established public charity provides financial and administrative assistance to selected projects. A Fiscal Sponsorship allows the project to solicit tax-deductible contributions from individuals, foundations, corporations or governmental organizations.

In addition, under special circumstances the foundation may give grants to individuals.
